As neither fish nor good red meat during Musica Antiqua
This week there was still The Festival Musica Antiqua in Bruges with the young, new baroque orchestra B'Rock and La Petitie Bande.
(...) The wink in the name B'Rock is so heavy that you searches in despair for a second, double meaning, but their name does wash. Associating yourself with rock also coincides with beautiful properties in traditional music: sense for simplicity and musical pulsation. B'Rock redeemed those expectations, especially in the Concerto grosso opus 3/4 of Händel.(...)
