Conscious selection of musicians

The musicians of B'Rock are selected on the basis of their experience, musical versatility and commitment. The permanent core consists of young musicians having international experience in the field of historical performance practice they acquired in specialized orchestras abroad and in Flanders, including Anima Eterna, Freiburger Barockorchester, Akademie für alte Musik Berlin, Les Musiciens du Louvre or the Academy of Ancient Music.

On the other hand, the musicians of B'Rock do not purely confine themselves to the performance of early music. Many of them feel at home both on historical as well as on modern instruments and are active in various formations and genres such as symphonic orchestras, contemporary music ensembles, pop bands or as a soloist. Quite a mix of rich experiences.

For specific projects B'Rock appeals to specialized guest conductors and/or coaches who, from their expertise and sense of creativity, are able to offer extra value by accompanying the orchestra in its quest for its own sound and functioning.
